SALT's Orlando Mobile Day Service Center for the unsheltered has been running since 2018 with the launch of a shower trailer for the unsheltered. In March 2020, when COVID-19 struck the Orlando area full force, we started to operate three days a week with support from the City of Orlando. In August of 2020, SALT was able to launch a case management program with three case workers, add a laundry trailer, storage services, mail services, charging stations, and extend its days to five days per week, all in 2021.

SALT's team is growing in Orlando, and so is the impact. In 2020, SALT served approximately 1,500 unique individuals with 30,000 units of service. In 2021, SALT served over 3,000 unique individuals with over 120,000 units of service.
SALT's Mobile Day Service Center in Orlando operates five days a week and serve up to 200 people per day. To fully fund this project SALT needs $1,450,000 to cover expenses for 2021 through the end of 2022.
